ORION’s final conference

The H2020 project ORION project will have its virtual final conference from the 27th to the 28th of September.

During this online event they will be sharing achievements and lessons gained throughout the project over the last four years and a half.

During the project lifetime they have developed and tested a wide range of engagement methods, funding schemes, training materials and co-creation activities to engage the public in science. ORION was born with the aim to explore in what form research and funding organizations in life sciences and biomedicine can open up the way they fund, organize and do research. By means of this final conference, they will share with the public their achievements, tools and lessons learned during this time.

The project aims to trigger evidence-based institutional, cultural and behavioural changes in Research Funding and Performing Organizations (RFPOs), targeting researchers, management staff and high-level leadership.
